This year the goal is to connect with joy. Ensuring connectivity conditions and specific materials forthe care of 158 children and young people with different abilities in Chimbote, Ancash.
On 11 March 2020, a health emergency is declared in Peru. The school year becomes distance learning, and the state implements the “I learn at home” programme using virtual media, television and radio.
95% of students in public educational institutions do not have connectivity or computer equipment to carry out their educational cycle.
The Centro de Educación Básica 42 is located in the human settlement of San Juan, a marginal urban community with basic services, which belongs to the district of Chimbote, province of Santa, on the northern coast of Peru.

Objective
To contribute to quality education through a pedagogical proposal that responds to current educational challenges. Students with disabilities receive appropiate education tailored to their needs in an inclusive enviroment.
How?
Special education students are provided with relevant educational material in quality and quantity according to their characteristics, disability and skills to be developed.
Differentiated attention by providing educational content and practical activities to students in offline mode, to develop activities with documentary support, individually, stimulating learning and training skills aimed at devising, planning, searching for and managing information.
Generate a teaching and learning circuit in which teachers can interact with students in order to achieve learning, supported by the use of the tablet with content, and establishing a back-and-forth circuit of information between students and teachers via WhatsApp.
